The Solution
Critical GREEN developed a constructed wetland-based wastewater treatment solution, applying its nature-based biological treatment approach to food-processing wastewater for the first time — extending the same core technology beyond its traditional sugar-sector base.
The Outcome
Independent effluent sampling at the site confirmed treated water quality within the guideline values set by the Sindh Environmental Quality Standards (SEQS) — an externally verified benchmark of the system's real-world performance, not just a design target.
