PGECHS (DC Colony), Gujranwala Cantonment

Gujranwala, Punjab
Constructed Wetland + Biogas
← Back to Project Portfolio

The Challenge

D.C. Colony / PGECHS, a residential housing development in Gujranwala Cantonment, needed centralized domestic sewage treatment at a meaningful flow rate — a larger-scale challenge than a typical rural village installation.

The Solution

Critical GREEN designed and established a constructed wetland wastewater treatment system sized for a flow of approximately 1.5 cusecs, using bioremediation-based treatment engineered to serve the community reliably at scale.

The Outcome

Completed in January 2013 to NEQS discharge quality, the project demonstrates Critical GREEN's application of nature-based wastewater treatment to a planned residential housing community rather than a rural village setting — proof the same core technology scales cleanly from small rural installations to larger, denser developments.
