The Challenge
Sanghar Sugar Mills, Sanghar, Sindh, is a large agro-industrial operation generating wastewater volumes well beyond what smaller community or residential systems typically handle.
The Solution
Critical GREEN designed and established a constructed wetland wastewater treatment solution, using biological treatment processes within an engineered wetland environment scaled to the mill's actual wastewater volumes and organic loads.
The Outcome
The completed system demonstrates that nature-based wastewater treatment can be engineered to match the scale of a major sugar mill, not just smaller decentralized installations.
